Welcome to Moonbeam!

A Little About Me

My clinical work supports individuals across a wide range of mental health experiences, from everyday stressors and life transitions to more acute and complex challenges such as suicidality, self-injury, repeated hospitalizations, and high levels of crisis-related distress.

I began my clinical career in an acute inpatient setting, where I gained foundational experience in stabilization and crisis intervention. Since 2012, I’ve worked across the behavioral health system in roles including residential technician, case manager, and admissions coordinator.

Much of my work has centered on supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental health needs intersected with patterned substance use. These experiences continue to inform my trauma-informed, recovery-focused approach to care.

At Moonbeam Wellness, I work with clients at all stages, whether they are in periods of acute distress, rebuilding after crisis, or seeking support for prevention, self-understanding, and personal growth.

I believe in each person’s capacity for change and aim to provide care that is compassionate, practical, and grounded in respect for autonomy and lived experience.

Approach & Clinical Philosophy

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and tailored to the needs of each person I work with.

I view therapy as a collaborative process that can support stabilization during high distress, help people rebuild after difficult or prolonged periods of crisis, and also serve as a space for preventive self-care, self-understanding, and ongoing personal growth.

I believe symptoms and behaviors often make sense in context. My work focuses on understanding those patterns without judgment, while also identifying what may be keeping someone stuck and what change could look like in a realistic, sustainable way.

My clinical foundation is rooted in a trauma-informed, relational approach, integrating CBT, DBT, attachment theory, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused approaches. I draw from these frameworks flexibly, depending on what best fits the client’s needs.

I place strong emphasis on collaboration and transparency in the therapy process. This includes working together to clarify goals, identifying what feels most helpful (or not helpful) in treatment, and adjusting the approach as needed over time.

I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care (TIC), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), which informs my work with both acute distress and longer-term emotional and behavioral patterns.

Ultimately, my goal is to support clients in building stability, increasing insight, and moving toward a life that feels more manageable, connected, and aligned with their values.

“We don’t need perfect clarity to move forward. Sometimes we just need enough light for the next step.”
